Unlike The Lottery, I think I get this one. The lady shaking his eyes all the time grabbed my attention the most in the story. I thought there was going to be something behind that and it was going to be the main part of the story but it didn’t. People were freaking out outside, like probably how I would have acted if something like that happened now. When the story first ended, I would have thought different things if my friend didn’t shout “They died!”. Though the whole story started making sense when they did. I think the theme of The big Snit is that we sometimes get too caught in what is happening in our little world and get caught up in little things that we are not aware of what is happening outside our little world. That sometimes happens to me too. This is how the human nature is usually. We get caught up in our little things that we have no idea what is happening outside.
